A lecture performance and cooking lesson that introduces the audience to the preparation of the traditional Purim pastry "Hamantaschen" (Yiddish: "montashn") in simple steps. Hamantaschen are triangular desserts with various fillings, but most commonly with poppy seeds. As the ingredients of the dough mix, Anna Lublina highlights the history of the pastry since the 16th century, as well as the numerous attempts during and after the Nazi era to sever the cultural connections of Judaism with German culture.
